The team is mainly engaged in scientific research and industrial services in the early warning, diagnosis, pathogenesis, comprehensive prevention, and control of important diseases (viruses, bacteria, parasites, etc.) in aquatic economic animals.
The team currently consists of 7 personnel, 4 of which have senior professional titles. The team has presided over 30 scientific research projects, published over 300 scientific research papers, authorized over 100 patents, and won over 10 awards. Every year, the team addresses dozens of disease problems for aquaculture enterprises and recovers economic losses of over RMB ten million.
In recent years, the team has focused on the development and utilization of big data analysis and intelligent control systems for the occurrence of important aquatic diseases. The team has collected a large number of historical incidence records of major diseases and constructed an intelligent warning platform for certain diseases based on machine learning algorithms so that real-time data and future incidence risks of diseases are displayed in the form of epidemic maps. Furthermore, the team has preliminarily developed intelligent equipment that can be used for automatic identification and control of diseases.
The team has meanwhile maintained cooperation with industry functional departments at the national and provincial levels to promote the green and healthy development of the aquaculture industry.
