【水产养殖学】
培养目标：培养具有良好的科学和文化素养、高度的社会责任感和健康的身心素质；具备水产动植物增养殖科学等方面的基本理论、基本知识和基本技能，具有较强的创新精神和创业能力。能在科研、教育、水产养殖生产和管理等部门从事科学研究、教学、水产养殖技术开发与推广、管理、生产经营等工作的高级应用型复合型和外向型人才。
主要课程：包括生物化学、普通动物学、水生生物学、普通生态学、养殖水化学、鱼类学、甲壳动物学、贝类学、水产动物增养殖学、生物饵料培养、水产动物营养学与饲料学、水产动物疾病学、水产动物遗传与育种学。引入“慕课”、“微课”，创设“反转式课堂”，开展虚拟仿真等实验教学建设，形成集环境、材料结构、养殖工程、饵料营养、育种、病害、信息机电自动化等学科为一体的现代水产教学课程体系。

专业特色：本专业为“双万计划”国家一流本科建设专业，拥有水产一级学科博士点和硕士点，水产养殖专业依托国家一流学科建设高校“海洋生物技术与海洋工程”学科群，面向海水养殖产业升级，重点发展新型绿色和智能化水产养殖，通过产教融合培养技术全面的高科技人才和企业管理精英，体现农工复合创新人才培养理念，其中开设水产养殖学（拔尖人才创新班），培养具有强烈社会责任感、创新能力突出、国际视野广阔的复合型人才。水产养殖学专业及创新班在浙江籍学生可申请免学费。
就业升学：水产养殖专业连续三年一次性就业率超过90%，毕业生就业途径包括考研、出国、水产研究所、海洋渔业局或水产局、水产技术推广站、动植物检疫检验、卫生防疫部门、学校、国企、私企及自主创业等。
[Aquaculture Science]
Training objective: to cultivate advanced “applied, compound, and international-oriented” talents who would develop adequate scientific and cultural literacy, great sense of social responsibility, as well as good physical and mental quality; who have the basic theories, knowledge, and skills of aquatic animal and plant breeding science, with a strong spirit of innovation and entrepreneurial ability; and who can be engaged in tasks such as scientific research, pedagogy, aquaculture technology development and promotion, management, production, and operation in the departments of Scientific Research, Education, as well as Aquaculture Production and Management, and so forth.
Main courses: Biochemistry, General Zoology, Hydrobiology, General Ecology, Aquatic Chemistry for Aquaculture, Ichthyology, Biology of Shellfish, Malacology, Aquatic Animal Culture, Feed Critter Cultivate, Aquatic Animal Nutrition and Feed Science, Aquatic Animal Disease, Aquatic Animal Genetics and Breeding Science. Experimental teaching constructions such as MOOC, Micro-class, Reversed classroom, and Virtual simulation are introduced to form a modern aquatic curriculum integrating Environment, Material structure, Aquaculture engineering, Bait nutrition, Breeding, Disease, Information electro-mechanical automation, and other disciplines.

Program Features: This program is a national first-class undergraduate construction program under the "Double first-class programs" plan, with a first-class discipline of aquatic doctoral and master's degrees. Relying on the academic community of “Marine Biotechnology and Marine Engineering” discipline group constructed by universities with national first-class disciplines, this program faces the upgrading of mariculture industry; focuses on developing new green and intelligent aquaculture; cultivates comprehensive high-tech talents and enterprise management elites through the integration of industry and education; reflects the concept of agro-industrial complex innovative talent training. Aquaculture (Top Talent Innovation Class) is set up to cultivate compound talents with a strong sense of social responsibility, outstanding innovation ability, and broad international vision. Students in the Aquaculture Science program and the innovation class who are from Zhejiang province can apply for free tuition.
Employment and Further Study: the employment rate of the Aquaculture Science program has exceeded 90% for three consecutive years. The employment channels of graduates included postgraduate entrance examination, going abroad, aquatic research institute, marine or fishery bureau, aquatic technology promotion station, animal and plant quarantine inspection, health and epidemic prevention departments, schools, state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and self-employment, etc.
